Field Operator/Compressor Operator – Sheffield, PA

National Fuel has an immediate, full-time opening for a Field Operator in the Transmission Operations department at our Roystone Station location in Sheffield, PA. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Repairs and maintains gas well equipment and pipeline systems, Service lines, house regulators and meters • Reading meters, customer service, collection work, line locating and emergency leak response • Keeping all necessary operating records • Mowing, patrolling, and other general maintenance • Reporting to and assisting other regional locations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver’s license • Demonstrated mechanical ability • Excellent customer service/communication skills • Basic computer knowledge and literacy is required. Ability to read, legibly prepare written documentation and have the ability to accurately interpret and analyze written information • The physical capability to work outdoors in all types of weather also in and around hazards and difficult to reach areas • Available to work Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm • Candidates must live within a reasonable commute to the Roystone Station location located at 1878 Route 6, Sheffield, PA 16347 or be willing to relocate.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience in plumbing, mechanical troubleshooting and gas well tending

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This is a position within the Company’s collective bargaining unit with a starting rate of pay of $28.92/hour, 6 months $29.92/hour, 1 year $31.54/hour.
