    ENVIRONMENTAL EMISSIONS TECHNICIAN – TIOGA, PA

    National Fuel is currently seeking an Environmental Emissions Technician for an outstanding career opportunity in the Compression Operations department at our office located in Tioga County, PA.     PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Schedule Greenhouse Gas leak surveys and emissions measurement activities • Perform Greenhouse Gas leak surveys and emissions measurement activities at various natural gas facilities • Compile and analyze field data using Microsoft Office and other programs • Make recommendations for repairs based on data collected • Report accurate field data to engineering for reporting to state and federal agencies

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate’s Degree in a technical field, environmental field, or equivalent experience in related field • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills and strong computer skills including Microsoft Office • Demonstrated time management, organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities • Prior experience reading and interpreting drawings and technical manuals • Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment • Exceptional analytical, communication, problem solving and organizational skills

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or environmental fields is desirable • Familiarity with various natural gas equipment (i.e. gas compressors, valves, regulators, etc.) • Experience with Greenhouse Gas leak surveys and emissions measurement activities • Optical gas imaging camera experience • Gas compressor stack emissions testing

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: The base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $72,000. This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
