Substitute Teachers

Franklin Area School District is hiring Substitute Teachers for $150 a day. 

Professional applicants are required to submit a PA Standard Teacher Application, a copy of certificate, three current letters of reference, credentials and transcripts. 

Emergency permits can be obtained for individuals who have a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and are able to work in a PA public school.

Substitute teachers have flexibility in selecting from available assignments by the school via Frontline Education. Elementary hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and the jr-sr high hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. Individuals may select full -day and half-day options.
