Register now at oilregionlibraries.org/teensOn Monday, July 17th from 1-2 pm, join us for a discussion about financial literacy with Amber Hughes and Roz Greggs from Top Tier Federal Credit Union. This workshop will include a discussion about different types of debt, loans, checking accounts, savings accounts, and more! Our second workshop will take place on Wednesday, July 19th from 1-2 pm. In this activity Daidre Green, our Teen Services Coordinator, plans to test the teens with a budget challenge! The participants will be broken into groups to see if they can successfully achieve a monthly budget with a predetermined budget amount. They will also be introduced to "needs" vs. "wants."Lastly, our final workshop will take place on Wednesday, July 26th from 2-3 pm. We'd love for you to explore the Northwest Bank, located at 1301 Liberty St. with us! Please arrive at the library at 1:45 pm, and we will walk to the bank together.
